President’s Message – May 2025

May 17, 2025

May and June brings with it the greening of the city and our community parks. This results in bicycles being brought out of garages and vegetable gardens being planted. To help with this process Cambrian Heights will once again have a bicycle day focusing on the free maintenance of children’s bikes. This will take place June 14. Equally, the Community Garden plots at the Hall are available for summer lease should some of last years’ participants not want to renew. Join us for our annual community clean-up event! It's a wonderful opportunity to help keep our community clean and vibrant, and to properly dispose of items that can be recycled or need special handling. Your input is needed! 39th Avenue NW Park Upgrade Project

A Cambrian Heights resident is working with the Cambrian Heights Community Association, Parks Foundation and the City of Calgary to upgrade the playground on 39 Avenue between 9 and 10 Street NW. The playground equipment is 30+ years old and is surrounded by a large green space with lots of potential.
