The Cambrian Heights Lego Competition is back!
This year’s theme is “My Future City”
Bring your creations showcasing your vision for a future Calgary or another future city of your imagination! Creations may depict scenes, transport, buildings, technologies or stories of the
future!
When: November 15, 1 – 4 p.m.
Where: Cambrian Heights Community Association, 600 Northmount Dr NW
Schedule of Events
Creation Drop-Off: 1:00 – 1:45 p.m.
Exhibit Judging: 1:45 – 2:30 p.m. (judges only)
Exhibit Viewing: 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Ribbons presentation and Grand Prize Draw: 3:30 p.m.
Creation Pick-up: 3:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Age Categories
- 3-4 years (Duplo allowed)
- 5-7 years old
- 8-10 years old
- 11-13 years old
- 14-16 years old
- 17+ years old
Contest Rules
- Entries are to be original designs. Not from a kit or by following instructions
- For entries larger than 15 inches deep by 15 inches wide, and taller than 24 inches please contact the event coordinator in advance to ensure there is enough space (social@
cambrianheightscommunity.com) - Names must be on all entries – We will have papers available at the event as well
- Judges’ decisions are final
- All entries must be constructed at home and brought to the hall
- Ribbons will be given for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners
- Each entry equals 1 chance to win a special prize
- Lego-like pieces are acceptable
- All children from any community are welcome
- Contest will be limited to the first 100 children
- All creations must be taken home on event day (no exceptions)
- All entries to be dropped off on event day (no exceptions)
- Limit of 2 entries per person
