Annual General Meeting 2021
Due to the ongoing health restrictions involving social gatherings and the requirements of our Bylaws, the Cambrian Heights Community Association Annual General Meeting will now be held virtually utilizing Zoom technology.
In order to attend the meeting and to identify voting requirements, we ask all those who wish to attend the meeting to register as indicated below.
Prior to the meeting, the financial statements for 2020 and a summary slide presentation will be available on our website. You will be provided with the Zoom link for the meeting on June 13.
We welcome your attendance and plan to host an Open House in the fall depending on health protocols in place at that time. If you have any questions or concerns please address them to president@cambrianheightscommunity.com

Do you love to cook? Do you hate to cook?
Join us by Zoom Thursday January 28, 2021, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
We will do a complete meal prep – we should be eating in 45 minutes and you’ll receive all the recipes by e-mail. We can help you save time, save money, and (hopefully) keep everyone happy.
I’m just a home cook like you (and Tupperware representative). I have no time to waste and no money to waste. I have found a way to make meal prep and cooking so much easier and faster, and to stop food waste in my home. Let me show you some of the tips and tricks I’ve learned. 10% of any sales and $10 for every private party booked will be donated to the Cambrian Heights Community Association.

Cambrian Digital Lego Contest is November 21, 2020
This year’s Lego contest has gone digital! The theme is “Wonders of our World”.
You get a chance to be creative and share your awesome Lego creations in a new way. Here’s how it will work:
- Participants will email their photos and descriptions to cambrianlegocontest@gmail.com
by 11 am on November 21st, 2020 - Raffle prizes and winners will be announced on our community Facebook page and website by 5 pm on November 22nd.
Age categories:
- 3 – 5 years old
- 6 – 8 years old
- 9 – 11 years old
- 12 – 14 years old
- 15+ years old
Official Contest Rules:
RULES AND INFORMATION:
- Entries are to be original designs. Not from a kit or by following instructions.
- Names must be on all entries.
- All entries must include a description that states what they created and how it represents the theme.
- Judges’ decisions are final.
- All entries must be constructed at home and photos emailed to cambrianlegocontest@gmail.com
- Winners will be announced for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners.
- Each entry equals 1 into the Lego raffle contest. Prize pick up will be in Cambrian Heights to be arranged by the organizer.
- Lego-like pieces are acceptable.
- All children from any community are welcome. Raffle prizes must be picked up in Cambrian Heights.
- Limit of one entry per person.

Celebrate fall with these community-wide activities
We all need some fun and excitement – join in celebrating fall with various community-wide activities:
- Watch for details on how to enter the Best Decorated Home and Costume contest. Yummy prizes for various categories.
- Coming soon… a scavenger list of fun sights to find on your next walk.
- Paint a rock for your yard with a fun image or encouraging note.
- If the weather’s right on Oct 31, bring your portable firepit to the front yard and enjoy the full moon and trick or treaters.
- We’re curious to learn of the creative ways people will safely hand out candy – join our private Facebook group page to read what people are planning.
- Listen for the fun sounds of Halloween music as you trick or treat this year. Our roving DJ will be driving through the streets of Cambrian from 6:30 to 8pm with creepy, fun and uplifting music.
